I havent been able to inspect it personally but the seller has been kind enough to send pics and videos of the watch. Seems to check most boxes but I have the following questions. Any expertise or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Having said that not everyone was issued a watch and some preferred personal choice items for quality or sentimental reasons (or just to avoid having to sign out a watch). Evening all, I've seen this watch for sale. Listed as Ref 2771-1 Cal. 283. circa 1953 I like it, but just wondered what the experts thought of it and what I should be paying for it. What's left of the serial number indicates ca 1950. Military NO. Unfortunately you have a mash up of a bunch of junk parts used to make up this unfortunate watch so don't bother trying to find "original" hands since there is nothing correct or original about the rest of the watch.
