I'd say L'homme is more versatile (day/night/office/multi season) & probably favored by more ladies. Intense is more interesting, mature, & strikes me as more of a night scent. (I haven't worn intense yet, just initial impressions).

MARLEN: The sweetness is much more pronounced in Intense with the added tonka bean while the sandalwood and leather notes (neither smoky nor buttery) add some substance, albeit in support of the tonka. Prada L'Homme Intense promises "a multi-layered experience" and enhances the scent of iris and amber with notes of leather and patchouli, while tonka bean gives it an oriental signature. The goal of the scent and its opaque bottle is to evoke "the elusive nature of the multi-faceted Prada man." Intense is definitely stronger and darker than the original L'Homme, amazing longevity but its projection is "elegant" if you will. It is by far the best performing, but due to its density and performance it's the least versatile. Since the original was released in 2014. The most notable flankers are Prada L’Homme L’Eau and Prada L’Homme Intense. L’Eau reminds me of wearing a white T-shirt and Grey Sweatpants, while L’Homme Intense is a darker and slightly better-lasting version.
