If you look VERY closely, you CAN see the second hand stick VERY rapidly. One of the "cool" factors of a Rolex I guess :) Then I tried one with p.9012 and an open caseback, much nicer crown action, smooth and solid, and not only the second hand hacks it zero reset, it's on another level. So as long as you're avoiding the latest p.900/p.9010 Panerai is still worth buying IMO
