My automatic gen 1 Dynamics are very quiet. I recently owned an Autodromo watch with a Miyota movement where the movement spun very freely, so you'd occasionally hear it and feel it. And every so often if you moved it just right, the momentum really got it spinning. However, both were noticeably quieter than the current generation 8800 caliber. On models like the 39.5 PO and Seamaster divers, I can hear 8800 rotor-spin in boutiques even when holding the watch at an arm's length. Thanks for your elaborated feedback, appreciated. When I shake the watch or move it around I can hear a very audible sound of the rotor wheel moving around. Its not any type of a bad sound, but it is definitely audible. Do you guys have the same experieince with your automatic Omegas? The rotor in an automatic watch will make a little noise, but it’s generally imperceptible during day to day activities. you can certainly hear it when your watch is close to your ear, though. Have the same in my 39.5mm planet ocean that uses the 8800 movement just like in the Seamaster 300m.

Watch Brands. Omega I have a Planet Ocean 2500 and other cheaper automatic watches that I use (I don't wear my Rolex). No one rattles.

The rotor makes some noise. (It is only hearable when your ears aee very close to the watch) Totally normal, these ETA 7750 based movements only wind in one direction, and so the opposite direction spins freely. I hear the same in my Cal 3330 and actually enjoy the noise.Google "7750 wobble" and you will see that the rotor making noise, spinning while on your wrist, etc. is normal. Note that the Cal. 3330 is based on the ETA 7750. The chronograph seconds recording hand is moving a little more erratically than it should IMO. Unidirectional rotors get spinny in the free non-winding direction which can sometimes be noisy, so avoid those if you don't like rotor noise. Also thinner cases typically provide less noise shielding along with lower water resistance.
