Getting the panerai bug but want to know best option for a smaller wrist. Would like one that does not have thick case greater then 14mm and not greater then 44mm. Is the classic panerai, the pam111 and 911 a good choice? Feedback from owners is appreciated. Also, how are radiomirs? Those have peaked my interest as well. Agree with others, please find a way to try one on and see for yourself is your best bet. The size guide is helpful, but this photoseries also shows how important it is for a watch to have a balanzed bezel/dial width, relative to the arm. E.g. the timex - the case vs. dial is almost perfect for the wrist. Same for the Panerai.
Looks good! Panerai watches are some of the few watches that look good, large. What's your wrist size? P.S. I normally wear 37-39 mm watches and prefer small watches, however I enjoy my 44 mm Panerai on my 18 cm / 7 inch wrist. Any Panerai owners having a wrist size of around 6.0-6.25 inches and wearing a 44mm Panerai. If yes, do post some pics of the watch on your wrist. Correlation between your wrist and the size of the watch. Convert wrist size into mm. Divide total wrist size in mm by the size of the watch (ex. 7 inch wrist and a 38 mm watch = 178mm divided by 38mm= Ratio of 4.7) An acceptable ratio falls between 4.0 and 5.0. Yes is the answer, 44mm on a 7" wrist is unlikely to be a problem unless your wrist is very rounded, 'flat topped' will allow it to wear more comfortably.
